The Details - Drive Financial Excellence. 

As our Finance Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with our leadership to shape our financial strategy, ensuring it aligns with our ambitious growth goals: 

Financial Control

  • Client Contracts, Invoicing and Collections.
  • Supplier Contracts, Bill and Payments.
  • Payroll.
  • General Ledger and Month End.
  • Tax; monthly compliance requirements and lodgements for BAS, IAS, Superannuation and other Tax liabilities.

Job Profitability

  • Oversee all financial operations and set objectives.
  • Provide clear financial reports and insights to senior management.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, sales results, and performance against plans.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.

Forecasting, Financial Reporting and Analytics

  • Maintain and enhance financial health through analysis and proactive management.
  • Review all reporting (monthly forecast, weekly pack, etc.) for presentation, accuracy and timeliness 
  • Develop trends and financial projections.
  • Manage company budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Liaise with auditors for compliance and monitoring.

Agency Leadership & Business Management

  • Collaborate with departments to align financial strategies and foster a culture of commercial responsibility and awareness.
  • Management of external Finance resources and suppliers.
  • Review/manage/approve providers and licenses (including but not limited to Job/Accounting systems).
  • Ensure ongoing financial health and accountability; all key processes and procedures documented.

Could this be you?

  • Proven track record as a Financial Manager, minimum 6 years.
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar. CPA/CA or equivalent.
  • Advertising agency or creative consultancy experience essential.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends.
  • Proficient in finance software, strong in financial statistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A natural curiosity and a “big picture” mentality.
  • Ability to lead and guide teams effectively and confidently.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
