One of the biggest days in our calendar rolled around today – the announcement of who made the grade in the 2019 Effies.
With effectiveness driving everything we do at AFFINITY, this is one of few stages we’re precious about being on. So it was with huge excitement that we clicked the link to the shortlist and found we had no less than five entries shortlisted.
Our strategy this year was to showcase our strongest case, a paper that demonstrated a whopping ROI of 53:1 – for Tourism Central Coast, From Couch to Coast. Using a unique digital testing approach, we were able to identify a positioning for the Coast that would drive purchase behaviour of our potential travellers. In bringing our positioning to life, we transformed the Central Coast from the ‘bogan capital of NSW’ to Sydney’s preferred short stay destination.
It’s a great honour to be judged by our peers as having some of the most effective work in Australia. And today’s news backs up our third year running as Australia’s most effective digital agency (WARC 100). Winners will be announced Thursday 5 September 2019 at the Effies Awards dinner and presentation to celebrate and recognise “Ideas that Work”. We can hardly wait!
