What an incredible result. AFFINITY was awarded Australia's first ever Gold Effectiveness Award at the world’s most prestigious industry awards, the IPA Effectiveness Awards in London this week. As if this honour wasn't enough, we also collected one of the rarefied few specials prizes on the night for Best Small Budget.
The IPA Effectiveness Awards are regarded as the world’s most rigorous industry competition rewarding work that unequivocally demonstrates marketing payback. In total, 11 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze prizes, along with nine special prizes were awarded.
Jan Gooding, group brand director, Aviva, and one of the Awards' judges said of the Narellan campaign: "In a declining market with increased competition, they used excellent data analysis to find the 'when' to advertise by responding to rises and falls in temperature.”
Luke Brown, CEO at AFFINITY who was in London to pick up the awards, added: “Our work for Narellan has received some major accolades in Australia and in Asia, but the IPA Effectiveness Awards truly are the pinnacle of success in world marketing. AFFINITY understands how to creatively use big data and this is another validation of our expertise.”
AJF Partnership and Initiative were the only other Australian agencies to be recognised at the awards, picking up a Bronze for Officeworks.
AFFINITY recently won five Australian Effie Awards for the Narellan campaign taking out Gold for Best Use of Data, Silver for Insight & Strategic Thinking, Digitally Led Ideas, Travel, Leisure, Media and Bronze for Return on Investment, at the ceremony held in Sydney in September this year. It has also won the MFA Award for Best Use of Data, Mumbrella Award for Media Campaign of the Year, MSix Award for Clever Use of Data and two gold and a silver at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
With this pinnacle of effectiveness under our belt, we couldn't be prouder of the benchmark set with this world leading work.
