At the end of May The AFFINITY Social Club took us out with an ulterior motive – to weed out the strong from the weak, the superstars from the benchwarmers, and the pros from the casuals: They took us to Holey Moley (At Darlinghurst)!
As one of our social team’s regular initiatives, Holey Moley did not disappoint. Their creative mini-golf courses, ranging from pure novelty to ridiculously challenging coupled with drinks on hand to improve, or deter, your putting skills go together better than I think anyone could expect.
A big congratulations goes to our Commercial Director CJ, who stealthily played with prowess all night, surprising everyone with his victory after a recount. I suppose a win is even better if you don’t let anyone know you’re winning.
The good-sported William and myself however were bestowed with the great honour of wearing the Holey Moley grass berets the whole game. I can say for a fact he wore it with pride. It might have even made him a better golfer. Our ever stylish Laurette wearing golfing attire head to toe certainly helped our morale too.
In the meantime we’re back to business, but I’m definitely looking forward to what the Social Club tee’s up next.
