WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design for a wide range of brands across a variety of communications and advertising media including digital (eDM, website, apps, social), CRM, print, collateral, outdoor, presentations and more.
- Interpret projects briefs and develop visual solutions and creative ideas that help solve the brief or project objectives.
- Work with a passionate, dedicated, and highly-awarded team of colleagues including art directors, copywriters, project managers, strategic advisors, media gurus, and leaders of creativity and business.
- Ensure quality of design output, efficient workflow, and impeccable file management.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Relevant professional training and at least 5 years’ experience as a designer in an advertising agency or similar field.
- Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent skills in Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder), Figma, Miro, and industry-standard selection of which tool for appropriate application.
- A portfolio of design samples from projects or campaigns that went live.
- Hands-on experience in visual design for eDM, website, app, social media, print/press, OOH, collateral, and other visual communications, with fluency and knowledge of the requirements and parameters of each such as colour space (CMYK vs RGB vs Hex vs PMS), print-ready media specs (margin, trim, bleed, dpi, print weight, etc), digital media specs (pixels, colour space, file size, file type, W3C, etc), font management, image manipulation, typography, file packaging, etc.
- Experience in UI/UX design in planning digital projects ahead of visual design.
- Experience in motion design including motion graphics, video editing, kinetic typography, visual overlays, visual effects, video specs for multiple formats (native social, digital, screen, etc).
- Strong understanding of marketing and advertising media.
- A collaborative attitude to amends and input from others, while providing your own expert advice to ensure quality across all projects.
- A natural problem-solving disposition that remains calm under pressure and resolves issues before they escalate.
- Creative thinking and visual ideation.
- Clear, confident communication skills and excellent workflow/process skills.
